Seriously!!!

That was my reaction. Carolyn’s reaction was, “For what? He hasn’t done freaking anything yet.”

I think Obama has had an impressive first two-thirds of his first year—but I sort of agree. It’s sort of like giving a movie an Oscar after watching the first fifteen minutes. It’s a great movie—and I’m pleased with the first fifteen minutes. But it still seems a bit premature.

Further, “The deadline for nominations must be postmarked by February 1 each year. Obama was inaugurated on January 20.” (via CNN)
